We made the excursion up to New Mexico to visit George and Virginia. It was the week before Halloween, so of course there were photo shoots! Some of the photos we made to replicate ones we took with Sophia. We also sewed, rode horses, rode quads (at Sophia's insistance) and built fires. It was an amazing, relaxing, fun time. Nicholas loved the quad ride, wish I had gotten a pic!
Now for a little game...which baby is which?

| Sophia or Nicholas? |
| Okay that one was easy, but how bout this one? |
| Sophia or Nicholas? |
| Tough, huh? |
We took some Halloween photos as well:
| Baby William....er, Nicholas. |
| My little baseball player! |
| Sophia dressed up to be in a wedding next year. We were trying out the dress and hairstyle... |
| Flower girl pretty... |
| Riding Amarillo, we had a great time. Sophia was way more relaxed than me! I was too busy being worried about her! Gee, I remember a time when I was a daredevil, but I guess being a mom changes things... |
| Sophia wanted to be a million different things for Halloween, she would sit around talking about it, "I want to be a butterfly. I want to be a dinosaur...etc." I decided she could be Olivia, her favorite cartoon character because I knew on Halloween she would not reject this costurme! Olivia has a little baby brother and so I thought I would cheet and make Nichol a baby William costume, too. It turned out prety cute if I say so myself! |
| My adorable sailor children... |
| We took some sunset weed pictures of Sophia when she was a baby and I wanted to replicate them with Nicholas because they are some of my favorites! Of course we got more of Phia, too... |

| This picture is actually from the drive up to the ranch. We stopped to make peeps at a really cool river on the side of the road. I talked to Sophia about canyons and fall during the trip and was really impressed with her retention of the information, as she repeated it back to me on the way home. She noticed when we were in the canyon and also pointed out the colorful leaves and stated it was fall. It is kind of hard to describe those things without a visual, and we don't get a lot of falling leaves in Casa Grande! She did not like sitting on this rock all alone! |
Oh, Gretel!
Gretel fell into the river from the rock Sophia was on, she meant to put her front feet in, but it was much deeper than she thought and she fell all the way in! So funny! |
We had a wonderful trip and enjoyed the quality time we got to spend with Grandma and Papa! Can't wait for Thanksgiving!
