Yesterday the kids had some doctor appointments. Nicholas had an 8:30am barium swallow and Sophia had a 9am dentist appointment. I drew the Nicholas straw and headed off around 7am to get to the hospital and check in. Neither of us brought cameras to the visits, so briefly, at the barium swallow, they determined Nicholas still aspirates non-thickened breast milk and therefore I have to continue thickening any liquids for at least the next six months (that is the earliest they will do another xray.) Sophia got her teeth cleaned and did a great job courtesy of her father praticing with her all the time, "Let me see your teeth..." He is so cute with her. She has an appointment at the end of the month to fill her little cavity. I did not have a cavity until I was 24 years old. I was so surprised when she got one before she was 15 months old! Poor kid!
That afternoon we went to the duckpond with our friend Christina. We saw Easa and Caitlyn leaving as we arrived. I did manage to bring the camera to this event!
Some of the ducks (geese?) were aggressive and got right up in Sophia's face, this freaked me out, so I would run up to the ducks stomping my feet and making a ruckus.
After the ducks were fed, we headed off to a nearby playground and the kids had a good time playing on the equipment.
