We had a busy weekend! Trying to get the house clean between running to piano recitals, going away parties, dance recitals (not my kids' but friends' kids'.) Saturday, we had an 11am piano recital for Isaiah in Mesa, then lunch, then shopping at Costco, then home then a 4pm going away party for my friend Christina (shown here with me on the couch, our friend Steph standing over us), then to my friend, Belen's daughter's dance recital.
Sophia is still in nap denial and I am running on empty. Baby bear wanna go sleepy, sleepy... Yesterday I started moving us back into the master bedroom and we even slept in there last night. Well, what sleep I got. Man, between Sophia and Nicholas, I am up all night. I really need to start going to sleep earlier, but then when will I iron, do dishes, fold clothes, clean up, pump and generally take care of everything I can't do when they are awake? Oh, I know I am whining and this too shall pass, but I really wish at least one of them would choose to sleep through the night!
So today I decided to wash my car, Sophia helped. She got soaked! She also watered the roses that the hellacious winds ripped all the petals off yesterday. Nicholas supervised from the garage...
I think that was Momma Bear wanna fo sleepy, sleepy!! LOL!! I am soooo sorry that they are not letting you get some rest! But, remember, there is hope!! Grandma should be on her way soon! :)
ReplyDeleteI am right there with you! I NEED SLEEP TOO! Maybe we should leave the guys with the babes when we visit and we could get a hotel room so we could sleep ;) Wouldn't that be awesome?? *Wishful thinking* I hope it passes VERY SOON!
