NIck is 6 months old!

Happy Birthday Nicholas! 

6 months old!

I wanted to give him yummy avacado for his first "real" food on his birthday, but I did not make it to the store, so we did more cereal.  Sophia wanted to help feed him.  I had to step out of the room for a minute, when I came back, she was feeding him "all by myself"- her favorite phrase.  She is so independent.  He ended up with cereal in his hair! 

Nicholas had his 6 month check up, then, to stay out of the house so Jer could sleep, we went to the Tempe Beach Park.  Sophia had the best time!  It was so fun watching her play and splash in the water!  I love this pic with the bird shadow- thank goodness we did not get pooed on!  Then we went to Ikea and bought some new bookshelves.  I love them, but they don't quite fit, so Jer has to make some adjustments with his saw...pics forthcoming.  Also, I am planning to make Nick's baby food, so if anyone has any awesome baby food recipes, let me have them!  Thanks, and sorry I have not updated this recently!
