Being there

Tonight I had a friend for dinner (homemade pizzas and yummy spinach salad.) She had a rough day and I was really glad to get to hang out with her, invite her into the mayhem of the Lee household and enjoy the time with her. During dinner, I told her that this was what life is all about, enjoying good company, eating good food, babies in the background, true love across the table. I felt very fufilled in the moment. I know how blessed I am and it is a wonderful thing to be reminded in a good way from time to time.
