Check ups

Today was Nicholas' 4 month check up and Sophia's 2 year check up. They both got shots! Poor guys. Sophia only got one, but poor Nick got 4! He has been a little fuss bucket all night. Sophia bedazzled the doctor with her intellect and physical abilities. The doctor asked if Sophia could dress and/or undress herself and seemed genuinely impressed that Sophia could do both of those things! I had not realized that it was a big deal, just another thing I take for granted, although, when she puts on her brother's clothes, it is pretty cute. Yes, she fits in her brother's clothes, not lengthwise, but around the waist, etc. She is in the 12th percentile, having reached 23 lbs for weight. Nicholas is in the 14th percentile and is 13lbs. He is a little guy. The doctor is not worried about him, though, so neither am I. The doctor was also impressed that Nicholas cries loudly now, does not sound like Darth Vader when he breathes anymore, and even his hemangioma has shrunk! That little guy is doing great. Finally a doctor's appointment for him with only good things to report!
